Lorry Cleaner’s dreams come true with Indian Premier League

    Pvijay Kumar, a lorry cleaner from a remote village in cuddapah district in Andhra Pradesh came along on the Indian Premier League Hyderabad team.

     A 21 years old boy from a small village paidikaalver of cuddapah district has been an unlikely star. VijayKumar played Ranjit Trophy and now he is set to hit the national scene with Indian Premier League. In the last two years this cleaner has carved but dream for himself.

    Vijay Kumar say’s “I did not even know what Indian Premier League was when I got selected. Just a few days ago my seniors explained to me what Indian Premier League is all about. I did not even tell anyone at home that I got selected. When I was playing for ranjit trophy, my only goal was to play well and get maximum wickets.

    Vijay Kumar studied in a local government school up to ninth standard and he also work. Their as a cook for mid day meals.

    Vijay Kumar’s father David construction laborer and his mother Saraswati, a small time vegetable vendor are always worried for him.

    After school time pt was his time to do something which he loves the most and that is to play cricket.

    His mother Saraswati always scolds him by asking “How will you survive if you keep on playing games? How will we eat if you just go to school and play cricket only cooks in the school? What you will do in life if you do not start it from now? But today my son has made my village and the whole district proud. With Rs 60 lakes and a three years contract with Indian Premier League Vijay Kumar’s family’s fortunes is going to get change now. A person who has not thought of playing beyond the Ranjit trophy is now going to play with international stars like Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds, Chaminda Vass etc. And even can get a chance to be a part of Indian team.
